Luxury home photography and film in Comporta
The Ivory Studio photographs and films houses in Comporta, Carvalhal, Brejos and along the Alentejo coast south of Lisbon, by request. Commissions start from €650, and travel is included in your proposal.
Comporta is quieter and lower than the Riviera, and its houses are sold on landscape and simplicity more than on view and finish.
Architecture
The local tradition is the fisherman's cabana: timber walls, reed or thatched roofs, low proportions. Contemporary houses here often reinterpret it, with timber cladding, lime-washed walls, concrete floors and rooms that open completely onto decks and gardens.
Interiors tend to be pared back, with natural materials and very little furniture. That rewards close, quiet framing and patience with texture.
Light and landscape
The land is flat: rice fields, cork oaks, umbrella pines, dunes and a long Atlantic beach. Light is wide and even, and the evening sun sets low over the dunes and the sea.
The setting is often the strongest image. Aerial frames show the house in its plot among pines and fields, and the distance to the beach, more clearly than anything from the ground.

Holiday houses on large plots, cabana-style homes, contemporary villas in the pine woods around Brejos and Carvalhal, and houses on small developments near the rice fields.
Practical notes
Comporta is outside our core territory, so shoots are planned as a full day with an early start or an overnight stay, which allows both morning and twilight light. Many roads are sand tracks; we ask for directions and access details in advance.
Parts of the coast are protected natural areas, so drone flights are checked for each site.
